Well after this movie, it looks like the director is...out of the Jobs. I'm Linus Schill, and this is my review of Jobs.
When people hear the name "Ashton Kutcher" they don't associate it with being in anything serious or good. However when the first images of Kutcher in the Jobs makeup it was jaw-dropping at how similar they looked. But I was nervous, because while he did look very good as young Jobs, when the first trailer came out and it showed him at the iPod announcement, you started to question older Jobs. The reason Steve Jobs died was because of pancreatic cancer, which means up until his death he was getting more gaunt. Now normally that is being nit-picky for a movie, but almost all of the movie's advertising was running on how similar they looked. So having an "older" Jobs really just look like younger Jobs in makeup just pulled you out of it. Up until that point however, the look was great in my opinion. Each time they jumped forward he looked older and older, fitting how Jobs looked very well. But thats one reason this movie failed, it was all in the look.
