Pixar Week: Finding Nemo Review

Fish are friends, not food. I'm Linus Schill, and this is my review of Finding Nemo

A young boy, his mother killed, and himself raised by his father. He is separated from his father and is lost with no one to help him get home. His father searches frantically, going through great extremes to get his son back. I know it is getting repetitive, but yes, this is a Disney "kids" movie. This movie is yet another that can be added to the bookcase of fantastic movies by Pixar.
If you have not seen this movie, whether is was the 3D release earlier this past year or not. This film is fantastic for so many reasons. First of all, the characters are great. You feel the bond between Marlin and Nemo because of how his siblings are lost, and so is his mother. When they do get separated you understand the pain even if you have only known them for 20 minutes. Dory is fantastic, ever scene is a memorable one with her. And don't even get me started on that brilliant fish tank ground of characters.
I talk a lot about great the environments and scenery. Well this movie does that to an amazing level. The beauty and horror of the endless deep blue sea. Seeing what it would be like to be in a coral reef, swim through a sunken submarine, or even be at the sea floor with a angler-fish. Everything about it makes you want to see more and more.
Well luckily for us as the audience because we will see more. Coming in 2015 we will see Finding Dory. Well given by the title, we will obviously be seeing Dory again which is fantastic news. I hope that as many of the original cast as possible can return, because it was so fun seeing it the first time and I can't wait to see it again. Thank you for reading my review of Finding Nemo. I give it all 10 ingredients. Be sure to check out the other reviews from Pixar Week down below or at the top of this page in the red drop-down menu.
